NFC & Al Maha ink deal for Bunker/Fuel Supply - Tuesday, 06 May 2014

National Ferries Company S.A.O.C. and Al Maha Petroleum Products & Marketing Company S.A.O.G. have entered into an agreement for supply & delivery of Marine Gas Oil/Fuel to NFC Fleet of Vessels at all Omani ports currently and envisaged to be operated by NFC in the near future.

Mehdi Al Abduwani, Chief Executive Officer of NFC and Ahmed Bakhit Al-Shanfari, General Manager of Marketing & Operations of Al Maha inked the deal for supply and delivery of Marine Gas Oil for a period of 3 years until 31st March, 2017.

Under the terms of the Agreement, Al Maha shall be responsible to deliver fuel to NFC Fleet of vessels at Omani ports ensuring their uninterrupted operations. Al Maha affirmed their commitment and dedicated team serving fuel orders of NFC.
 
NFC with 7 vessels in their current fleet of vessels, expected to serve more than 12 routes (current & prospective) locally and regionally with state-of-the-art High Speed Crafts and medium speed ROPAX Vessels. It is expected that additional vessels will be inducted to the fleet in meeting the strategic Objective and Vision of the company.

Ahmed Bakhit Al-Shanfari, General Manager of Marketing & Operations of Al Maha said proud to have won the tender for fuel delivery to NFC Fleet of Vessels at Omani ports for a period of 3 years and we are committed to work together with NFC for ensuring their smooth operations.

Al-Maha is a fuel-provider to many of the major companies in the Sultanate. Its fuel stations cover even the remotest areas, while its fleet of road tankers supplies fuel to a vast number of establishments including service, social, construction, and infrastructure Industries in addition Al Maha is supplying fuel to vast number of Government sector institutions.
