NFC Participates in ATM - Thursday, 09 May 2013

The National Ferries Company (NFC) participates in the 20th edition of the Arab Travel Market (ATM), which is being held in Dubai, UAE. The four-day event is one of the most prominent annual events in the Middle East and the world in the field of tourism. It attracts an elite of important personalities and decision-makers in the travel sector in the Gulf region, the Middle East and the world.
During the event, the NFC's Marketing and Communications Team hosted Ahmed bin Nasser al-Meherzi, Minister of Tourism. He was briefed on the NFC's activity, its future plan for fast ferries project andits plan to operate (Shannah - Masirah) route and its preparedness to launchthat route through designing two new ferries to work on this route, besides the coordination with various parties to upgrade Shanah and Masirah harbours toreceive fast ferries and build bridges for vehicles shipment.

Ghazi bin Abdullah Al Zadjali, Head of the NFC Marketing and Communications said that due to the importance of the event as it is the first travel market in the Middle East, ATM is a window for us to highlight various tourism potentials in the Sultanate, as we consider ATM as a platform to highlight the NFC's fleet, the ferry routes and services.
