ON Sunday 24 January 2016 National Ferries Company (NFC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Qeshm Free Zone Authority in the Islamic Republic Of Iran (IRI).

The National Ferries Company (NFC) has registered a growth in the number of passengers transported by the company’s fleet last year.

Mehdi alAbdawani, CEO of the (NFC), said that the company is proceeding according to a clear plan and specific programs to provide training and educational opportunities for the Omani cadres on all marine levels and areas for employees to improve the performance of the maritime sector in the Sultanat.

The National Ferries Company (NFC) the number of passengers and vehicles during the National Day holiday during December 2 to 5, increased to reach about 6,241 passengers and 1323 vehicles to various destinations that are covered by the NFC.
